Today there are many websites that offer a website that you can design yourself online within minutes. These offerings can be low in price and allow you to get a website up in minutes. But is this the answer?
There is a lot more to designing websites than creating a website and putting it on a server and waiting for people to do business with you. Creating a website that reflects your business and marketing strategy is very important, however very time consuming.

I agree with this. We were unable to create an online shop with the bells and whistles my company needed. We approached several web designers, and the one we chose did an excellent job. We just would never have done this ourselves.
We have used a web designer ourselves for many years, and would never dream of trying to do his work. I don’t think any of us could design a website.

I think 2 minute websites are more for bloggers or affiliate marketers, if I needed shopping carts or basic sales pages I would go to a designer. Yes, it can be done on wordpress, however, I want good graphics that stand out or a fast loading online store that would be easy to manage.
